Beth Cu says: “Set in Marseille, about 2 girlfriends, one Muslim one Jewish, and them trying to navigate/mitigate the religious/cultural/gender restraints their families put on them. The main lead, Myriam, was stunning, in looks and acting – her partner not quite up to her level, with the rest of the cast variable. This was my second film that ended with an extended group dance scene – unfortunately I found this one to be more a cheat at the ending rather than best resolution. Overall the story was more soap opera-y than at all necessary. 3 cats.”
