Michael says: “Rom-com/coming of age films about a 22-year-old female music critic in a [still] male world who moves from Toronto to the cool neighborhood in Montreal to get her big break. Instead she falls for ‘the worst guy in Montreal’ while one of the best pines for her. If only the central love-triangle was the least bit believable, but the object Grace’s pining is so unappealing you wonder why she puts up with him.
“Grace’s story-arc of finding her voice and her empowerment is nice, but some of the intervening story is a little painful to get through. All-in-all a bit of a step down from I Like Movies, but still enjoyable enough to watch. 3 cats”
