Documentarian Ondi Timoner wasn’t expecting to make a movie—she just habitually films everything in her family’s life. But when she began to create a 5-minute film for her father’s memorial service, she couldn’t stop. The result is this almost two-hour record of her 92-year-old father’s desire to die. Living in a Right to Die state (California), he makes arrangements, with the help of his wife and children, to take life-ending drugs.
