The story grew from a tale of survival, to something much more complicated, mostly told through the hen’s point of view. It did get a little tedious, not that our hen wasn’t compelling, but around 2/3 of the way in we started getting some scenes that were not from the hen’s point of view, which I wish we’d avoided. 3 1/2 cats”
