Chris says: “Jude’s take on the venerable Bram Stoker character is gleefully profane and maybe the best possible use of AI (i.e.–satirically.) Split into a dozen or so vignettes, at nearly three hours, it didn’t need to be longer than Do Not Expect Too Much From The End of the World but when it hits, it absolutely slaps (like a certain object in one of the later sequences.) If you like Jude’s other films this ends up nearly being worth the running time as it’s full of quotable lines one has come to expect from him such as, ‘Even the shape of the Pyramids proves that as they work, people feel like doing less and less of it!’ 4 cats
