Alan Rudolph’s film, CHOOSE ME follows a group of late-night grifters searching for love and connection, with another strong cast including Genvieve Bujold, Keith Carradine, Lesley Ann Warren, and the remarkably young Rae-Dawn Chong and John Laroquette! I’m just amazed at how the strong female characters, and they are strong, are still such a product of the time. Entertaining, and will made in the Robert Altman (with whom Alan worked) style. 3 1/2 cats”
