Despite some high profile awards and some critical raves, SHAME was left me a little cold in its attempt to distance the audience to convey Brandon’s isolation. There are some powerful moments, such as a date between Brandon and his co-worker Marianne (Behaire) but the film’s denouement came across as a little too cliche. 3 cats”
