Thom says: “I saw CATFISH & I finally ended up putting in the positive column. It’s very heartwarming in a way. It’s definitely entirely documentary although I thought it wasn’t for some duration. A young man connects with a family over Facebook and he and his friends decide to go visit the family when inconsistencies develop in the e-mails. 3 cats”
Scot says: “We watched CATFISH last night. I didn’t care for it. In fact, I think that if I meet the filmmakers at a festival, I’ll have to excuse myself from introduction because I found the theme of the film — as I see it — to be very patronizing and snobbish. They try very hard to present the protagonist as a caring, thoughtful guy but I found the three men to be really self-absorbed, self-satisfied, insensitive, and well… not people I’d like to hang with.”
