Michael says: “Nice story, with good performances falls a little short with a screenplay that is a little stiff. June and her mother Lela, take a trip to the Azores in Portugal a year after their father/husband has died. It was a place he once visited on his own and was very happy. Both have completely different idea on how this trip will go, and things get complicated, or perhaps helped, by the sexy, sage-like tour guide, the unexpected bad weather, and the Iranian Freedom-Women-Movement. It was nice, but I wish it was better. It could have been a bit more powerful in its message. I feel the story was somewhat autobiographical, and perhaps in an effort to include all the elements of reality tried a bit too much. 3 cats”
