What really helps is that the director is also deaf. In their interviews Marlee is completely candid and very animated. Marlee was resilient and didn’t stop until she became an important advocate for the deaf community. For me it was an emotional watch. Marlee Martin’s life definitely warrants this documentary that celebrates her life and contributions. 4.5 cats”
