Vicki says: “LADY BOSS tells the real story behind Jackie Collins, the well known author and sister of actress, Joan Collins. It is very effectively layered by using interviews with friends, family and archival footage. She was quite complex. I found the use of her early diaries to be most effective and quite revealing. By hearing them read aloud, it becomes clear that she took a lot of material from her childhood and she wrote ‘what she knew’. Much of it is raw and might be called trash and that is one reason she was very controversial. She was larger than life in many ways and one thing is for sure – she was a born storyteller. Personally Ive never read any of her novels, but I will admit that after watching LADY BOSS, I immediately downloaded one of my Kindle. 3 cats
