Thom says: “The original [REC] is considered a classic amongst the horror set and it was even remade in the United States as QUARANTINE, starring ‘Dexter’s’ wife. This, then, is the ongoing story. It’s very scary and fabulously entertaining but it continues with its main problem from the 1st segment. The entire film is made with a hand-held camera which unfortunately gets tired too quickly. Still the ideas are there. Actors aren’t important in this genre of films. There’s a horrible, eerie virus spreading throughout a Madrid apartment house that threatens to expand into the real world. 4 cats”
