Judy and her co-director Daniel Gold (who won the Sundance cinematography award for this) begin a crusade that takes them from New Orleans to Venice to prove the hazards of PVC. While sometimes amateurish, Helfand also keeps things playful by pulling the focus back to her parents’ home and her need to convince them to replace their siding (she does, but it takes work and a lot more money than she’d hoped).” 3 1/2 cats
