| Bruce says: “My patience runs thin with self-indulgent films that appear to be the result of adolescent fantasies fulfilled in adult cinema. This confusing film has two parts. The first part is a brutal trial of a 17th century nun who refuses to confess to an amorous tryst with a priest prior to his suicide. Without her admitted culpability, the priest is likely to rot in hell. For part two we are suddenly in another century with vampires occupying the same property. Confusion abounds by employing the same actors to play different types of roles than they played in the first half. A Russian billionaire wants to buy the former convent and turn it into luxury condos. Enough said. 1.5 cats“ |
