Laks says: “Val had been nudging me to watch American Psycho for a year or so and up to this point, I thought she was just waiting for a chance to gush over her high-school crush, Christian Bale but as it turns out it was also a stunning film that was masterfully treads comedy, horror, style and farce seamlessly. I loved this film so much that I wish I watched it closer to when it came out as I believe it would have left an indelible mark on me as I moved through the world, waiting tables at restaurants in the peripheries to the world depicted in the film but in London. Beautiful and horrifying film that will live with me and one that I will revisit again and again. – 4.9 Cats“
