Laks says: “I got a subscription to Shudder for Halloween season and only watched part of the trailer for YOU’LL NEVER FIND ME, an overlooked psychological horror flick that I was convinced I need to watch it straight away that very same night. What is it about Australian filmmakers that they are so able to deliver such dark aspects of humanity so terrifyingly well on screen. (e.g. WAKE IN FRIGHT, SNOWTOWN etc.). Its a film in many aspects is as much as an art house film as it is a psychological horror. This is a great example of an indie low budget film that have successfully utilized all of their resources to extremely great effect. A two-hander set entirely in a single location where excellent acting, camera work and sound design terrifyingly deliver uncertainty and madness. You can never really tell which character is the tormented or tormentor and at every turn you cannot even tell if either one of them is a ghost or a figment of one of the others imagination. – 4 Cats

Aaron responds: “Laks, I’m 100% on board with everything you say here until the film’s last 20 minutes. More than any film this year, nothing has quite kept me on my toes with such an unsettling, spare, and taut setup, but when the answers finally come trickling in, it makes for a groaner of a last act. The less ambiguous the explanations, the less compelling it gets. I’m more mixed with a 2.5-cat review, but I also feel this will be a hell of a calling card for whatever directing duo Indianna Bell and Josiah Allen have in store for us next.”
