Vicki says: “The main reason to see this film ( and it’s a valid one) is to watch Sigourney Weaver revel in the role of Hildy, a real estate agent in a high-end New England town. Hildy hopes to have a ‘good year’ in sales, but she’s been out of commission due to a trip to rehab. We watch as struggles in her post rehab life. Weaver also serves as the sometimes narrator and is often hilarious as she introduces the cast of characters surrounding her ( too many to list but each one is perfectly cast).
“One is these is Frank Getchell, played by Kevin Kline. He is the town contractor, who happens to be one of the wealthiest people in town and Hikdy needs his help on one of her project. Hildy admits she “ was quite in love with Frankie in the past”. Then we are treated to watching these interact with the possibility of rekindling their affair in the air. This is truly such a pleasure that one forgives the plot weaknesses. 3.5 cats”
