Philip says: “I found the new documentary HATING PETER TATCHELL fascinating. I knew who Peter was and often see his name online, but his life story surprised and impressed me. Hailing from Australia, Tatchell’s made the U.K. his home for the past 50 years. Peter’s literally been putting his life on the line since arriving in Britain fighting for LGBTQ equality. In later years, he’s branched out to all sorts of human rights campaigns in England and around the world. He focuses on the intersection between groups hoping to forge common ground. His tactics may not always be appreciated by everyone, but his results are impressive. He’s a queer hero and an elder statesman whose story is important and necessary. Great documentary chronicling Peter’s life and career. 4 cats
