Thom says: “Recent Canadian citizen Romero was, of course, there for the delightful Q&A. Admittedly Romero is the ‘king’ of the zombie genre, nearly inventing this horror staple. Unfortunately, nearly all his other work is lamentable, but this ‘THE REAL McCOYS vs. NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD’ offering, while tons of fun, certainly doesn’t add noticeably to the genus. For a reason I can’t pinpoint, I generally enjoy Zombie flicks to vampire flicks so Romero does hold a place in my heart. 3 1/2 cats ”
