“In HOWS YOUR NEWS, five adults with mental and/or physical disabilities go on a road trip across the country (with counselors and crew) doing man-on-the-street interviews. The reporters are very different in their abilities, personalities, and interview styles. There are hilarious moments, wild successes, setbacks. It was good for me to see with such immediacy how people with disabilities are made to feel invisible in general society.
“The folks at Camp Jabberwocky (in Massachusetts, for people with disabilities) had been making videos for a number of years.
