Diane says: “A local effort, this 60-minute feature combines comedy and horror. A group of Salem witch trial reenactors are hounded by a busload of Halloween partiers after the death of one of the tourists. Wacko highlights include a sleazy NY agent on the phone and a face-off between the witch trial reenactors and a group of Revolutionary War reenactors (from Salem’s competing tourism draw, Pioneer Village).
“The plot is episodic without a driving force. The humor is so unusual that, at the screening I was at, there was little consensus on what was funny. Instead, raucous laughter percolated around the theater. The photography is the most professional element of this film. (My step-great-niece was part of the camera crew.)
