Thom says: “This was being offered for free by PrimeVideo so I decided why not. Earlier in my life, even though I’ve always been gay, I wasn’t particularly interested in drag queens until I discovered the incomparable Divine, whom I worshiped up to his early passing. But now, with the coming of the world-changing RuPaul, drag is known and loved by millions of world-wide fans including me. I wouldn’t now dream of missing an episode of his show. At any rate, as this film portends to ill uminate, children have been able to watch drag readily on television and this documentary follows 3 boys and 1 girl who are all preteen but want to pursue careers as drag queens. Since this is probably the first time in the history of Earth that this might be considered appropriate behavior depending on its approach and acceptance this film certainly wasn’t shy about taking a dramatic plunge with some common sense attached. That none of the quartet appear to have even a shred of talent, that might well come in time. I especially loved the parents of the 4 who all were supportive, informed, and rather appealing. 4 cats“
