Thom says: “The idea for this film is certainly clever enough and if tight enough reins had been applied it might well have been a classic but to choose 27 directors to make 26 short films, each choosing a letter of the alphabet to make a gory film about death is begging for missteps and they are chock-o-block here. A few of the efforts are spectacularly good. clever, and inventive beyond words, but are somewhat beside the point as the goal of the whole was to make the films as revolting, disgusting, & stomach-churning as film can possibly be, and the film does come through on that level. Thank the Lord I saw the film before dinner although my appetite was ruined. 4 cats”
