Chris says: “The longer I sat with this Argentinian film about a bank heist (but not really a heist film per se), the more I appreciated it, even if it really did not need to be three+ hours long. Apart from some great isolated set pieces (the night scenes bathed in red, the prison conflicts, the notion that a boss and a bully are indistinguishable) and a groovy, curated rock soundtrack, the most lasting takeaway is an ongoing theme of work as a prison sentence and what one does with the relatively little time they have on Earth. 3.5 cats
