Chlotrudis and the Brattle Present CineCaché
Celebrating the yet-to-be discovered treasures of the independent film world, Chlotrudis and the Brattle present CINE-CACHÉ, a new bi-weekly series of film and discussion, every other Monday night September 27, 2010 through January 3, 2011. Special screenings of sneak previews, festival favorites, regional features, and overlooked gems that haven’t played Boston are the kinds of films you’ll see in this exciting series. Filmmakers will be in attendance on select evenings and discussions will be held after all screenings.
CineCaché grows out of the long-running Sunday Eye Opener Series – the first programming collaboration between The Brattle and Chlotrudis. During the run of the Eye Opener, we hosted premieres of films such as Goodbye Dragon Inn, Hard Candy, Let The Right One In, Mutual Appreciation, Paranoid Park, The Pleasure of Being Robbed, The Proposition, Quiet City, Sin Nombre, Son Of Rambow, and The Wind That Shakes The Barley. This new series will feature similarly provocative and wide-ranging films to challenge our perceptions and spark discussion.
The opening night film along with other highlights from the series will be announced later this week! Sign-up now at http://www.brattlefilm.org/brattlefilm/cinecache.html!
Most individual screenings are $10/$8 for students, Brattle and Chlotrudis members; Subscriptions for the entire series are available for $60. Special subscription rate for Brattle and Chlotrudis members: $50 for the entire series!
