Silent SoulsIt’s CineCache time at the Brattle!  Chlotrudis and the Brattle Theatre present Aleksei Fedorchenko’s SILENT SOULS.  This haunting and beautiful film from Russia explores grief, love and fate as refracted through the lens of ancient ritual and beliefs. When Miron’s beloved wife Tanya passes away, he asks his best friend Aist to help him say goodbye to her according to the rituals of his ancestors, the Merja, an ancient tribe from Lake Nero, a picturesque region in West-Central Russia.
